What is the effect of high tech level on Outposts?

Hey everyone,

Would anyone know what the effect of building an outpost around a world with lots of high tech installations is? Can you get an outpost with decent outfitting options by doing this?

You'd switch the outpost to High-Tech economy, which seems to get it UC activated.

I don't think you'd get the Outfitting service online that way.
