What is the most profitable way to make credits?

I have an ASP explorer that is configured for PAX travel. The best missions I get are 5-8 million a run. Runs are about 300LY. This is my bread and butter atm. Is there better ways to earn more income? I did do the 17 droconis thing but that is not for me. Im the one that gets massacred.

I have done some trading but I can make way more money running pax. I used this site for my trading routes.

I currently own Courier and ASP. I have my ASP engineered for 45LY jumps. I am working on ranking up to the clipper but it is taking forever. Im 50% knight atm. I would like the python but it is so expensive. I need to find something that earns me more income.

Any tips?

I think sight seeing tours is a good credit cow at the moment, you can make quite good money in linked systems doing data/cargo runs and stacking missions, running back and forth, as you ally up the payments go up too. I'm rank gridding at the moment and I would be getting 10m+ per hour if I wasn't donating most of it back to gain rep lol.

5-8 million for 300ly in a 45ly Asp. That's 10 runs for a base Python and another 10 to have it fully A-rated, particularly if you do your shopping at Li Yong-Rui's stations. I don't think you'll find anything, unless it's the Sothis dance, which will get you there faster if getting that ship is the next goal you've set yourself. If you find the variability in mission spawns slowing you down, and also if that bothers you, you can always kit a T7 for nearly 300 tons of cargo and find a trade route that will make you over half a million every couple of jumps. It's slower than the peak of what you'd get running passengers but you'd still have your fully kitted Python in 5-10 hours of play time.

Otherwise you can just do whatever you enjoy doing and then be pleasantly surprised when you suddenly realize you can take that long-legged Asp to a station with a discount in about 3 unladen jumps and savor the new ship smell of your shiny new toy :) That's more fun than grinding your credits up :)

Ibtried a passenger mission 1 time. Maaan, what a nightmare. Another jump screen massacre. Endless waste of time.

Isnt there more intelligent gameplay available at all. This game is such a grind or time sink or both at the same time.

Gonna try to make another 200mill tonight with CZ missions.. not that i need it, but it feels rewarding..

How exactly? I'm pretty much allied with most in those systems and I don't get anything more than 100k.... although I don't do PAX missions..

Mission stacking and go back and forth between Sothis and Ceos and other systems that have similar runs. Stacking 20 missions 100k each to the same station soon adds up :)

OP - Just play the game. The credit will come. Chase big paydays and you are going to burn yourself out.

Focus on having fun, not padding your bank account.

Im making some good money at the moment doing the HIPWu circuit. Having reached ally status, i am now getting an ongoing supply of data missions, supplemented by high value commodity and passenger carrying betwwn the station, the three outposts and the planetary base. Both imperial ranking and steady progress towards elite trader are important secondary considerations. And above all, in small doses it is quite enjoyable...

PAX is where it's at for Med/Small non-combat ships. I use my Asp ( The Sh*t-Getter ) for that when I am not grinding for engineers/Powers. But I find the high paying missions aren't always there. 5-8 million for a 200LY trip isn't a regular thing for me. Usually it's 2-3 million.

Once you get a 200+ cargo hold it opens up other things like Outbreak systems and or A-B trading runs. A Cutter/Anaconda makes stupid credits on a regular basis without the need to troll the PAX/Mission board.
