What is the order of operations to search for squadrons with specific tags?

Pardon me for being brain broken.

Suppose I want to search for squadrons with the tags PVE, GMT-7, and a few other ticked check boxes.

If I go to the panel with these selectable options, and then return to the search menu, how do I execute the search with these tags.

Every time I do it, I'm seeing fairly random tag selections offered.

I did the same for the longest just figuring it out yesterday after some trial an error.

Enter your search criteria, put in your search word (“Imperial”) and hit Return on your keyboard.

Didnt try it - now that I think about it - but for a search just on your criteria without a search word leave it blank and just hit return?

1) Go to INARA.cz

2) Find the group there using Artie’s nice filters (especially default sort by size).

3) Come back to the game and do a direct search for the Squadron you want.

4) Apply. In game.

Such brilliance. Clearly the work of a 100-person team going flat out.

To be fair:
1) The filters are bugged. There’s plenty of bug reports - they will sort it out when they come back from mountain biking in Tenerife or surfing in Bali. It will get better soon.

2) If it was set up so that you could find the populous groups easily, there would be an outcry against favouring the Large Old Groups, so it’s kind of “all groups are equal” which means you see a hundred “Party of One” groups before you see anyone with a membership. In this case “fair” has won out over “useful”.

3) Artie (INARA) is like one dude. Maybe some buddies help out. He’s had like $20 off me a couple times because I reckon his site is awesome. He can make change just by sitting down and changing stuff. Frontier have a process, change management, “death by committee” and all that.

I'm not looking for a specific squadron, I'm looking for squadrons that match certain criteria listed on the tags sheet...

Doesn't work for me. The displayed squadrons don't match the checked criteria.

^ He is correct. The ingame search function, using the filter tickbox deosn't work atm - so you can't search by criteria (on PS4 at least). You can tick all the criteria you want, but unlike the navigation panel filters, it does not apply your selected criteria when you hit 'back'. You can, however, play it as a minigame if you like. When I started typing my randomly chosen filters were Newest, Devoted and Russian. Aftet plotting my next destination, I rolled Newest, Pirate, Weekdays. I think I'll have a look through the pirates and see if there are any near my system.

PS there is a bug thread, do feel free to find it and bump it with you comments.

Thanks! I am glad to hear that it is not "working as intended".
