Horizons What is the status of being able to gift paint jobs to other players in the Frontier Store?

With all of the cool paint jobs available and awesome weapon colors, I'd like to send some gifts to game friends. Can't seem to figure out how to do it though...

Buy the game extra - on the product page click on "this is a gift" (or words like that) button, later you give the email addy of the gift recipient. I gifted my new commander with a repaint pack using my "special day" discount to pay for it, worked a treat, no issues at all.

(Although currently my separate recent free sidewinder paint in that account doesn't show up - support says there is an issue with some repaints not showing in game and that a fix is due in the next update.)


EDIT:

P.S. After today's patch, the free repaint was available in-game.

The button did not appear for me - I guess I now have two copies of Blue weapon color now...

It should appear below the "buy now" button on the actual product page as in here:

Maybe you hit "buy now" from a multiple-items list page?

Raise a support ticket and they will sort it for you, they are really helpful. ( If the gift option doesn't appear from that method then support needs to sort that out too. )
