FDev felt that even players in Solo/PG would 'benefit' from listening to imbeciles frothing at the mouth, so they kindly shared system chat across modes.

I'm honestly baffled as to why they thought this was a good idea.

Because, to me, playing in Solo to hide is lame. I'm yet to be ganked in Borann and gankers seem to ignore me as I actually run decent shields. If you make it to the hotspots, chances are they can't drop in on you. Even if they did, it would add some fun to it.

IMO mode switchers should stick to one mode and stay at it. If you need solo sometime, just stay their. But we shouldn't be commenting on anyone's opinion of how they want to play the game. So asking this kind of question is irrelevant to any conversation here as is my opinion on how people can play the game.

Mine must be broken. I never play in open, and have never once seen any player chat. First bug I've ever found that I don't want to fix.

Good job on calling it out. Muting is an option, but so is turning a blind eye to this crap when it happens in real life and that’s what was once referred to commonly as “wrong”. Report the little turds. No place for racism imho

You get all sorts on the internet. You are free to ignore system chat or report anyone you see writing stuff that is against the ToS.

Don't blame Frontier for not monitoring chat in every single system every single minute of every single day. They will only look if someone provides them with evidence. They probably don't even have logs of what is said in chat.

So, get screencaps or video, and submit to FD.
