What is this white sign with an arrow? Never had it before. I'm mining.

It's fixed against the background of stars, so I can turn away from it and lose it off the screen, although the actual arrow part moves around with my roll. It remains in place whatever I target, though going up into SC makes it disappear.

It's a team target marker. A bug causes it to appear randomly when in a team.

I still call them wings, and originally typed such... but seeing as this is the newcomer forum I decided to not cause further confusion. (And the bug behind this only happens in Odyssey anyway)

I had set Multiplayer to be on for a while in case anyone wanted to join mining, and then I searched for anyone doing mining but "no ships are available". So I got the marker (whatever it's pointing to! Seemingly nothing) despite no-one joining my team
