Okay, so i'm friendly with the federation, and doing bounty hunting in my eagle. I've noticed something. when I kill a bunch of bounties, the federation security ships will start shooting at me, even though i don't have a bounty on my head, what is that about?
I'm convinced Federation Security doesn't like bounty hunters. Or they're crooked cops taking the official pay and the bounty pay on the side and you're just taking money out of their hands.
I'm leaving the feddies and empirals behind and heading for alliance space eventually, but today it's been a bit better on the Security services false firing so it may be getting better.
When I am bounty hunting I will pass on any bounties who are aligned with the major factions. I just don't want to tempt fate.... which brings me to a separate issue... are they still killing trees in 3300 to make little notebooks for pilots to record which factions are no kill and which will become deadly projectiles in a collision or during hard maneuvering??? We need a pop up notepad! That's off topic tho.
Thanks for mentioning that - I was wondering what was going on too . . .had thought maybe it had something odd to do with factions . . . . glad it's a bug . . .
Not only the cops, sometimes a privateer becomes red and attacks too. I always set my radar to max range when i am fighting, and one time i saw a ship becoming red after a kill at max radar range. I targeted it, and it was the above mentioned privateer.
