What is with all of the 'Will You Pay for This' threads. Is FD fishing?

For my two cents/pence what if they were testing the waters? We know that those who have Horizons will get what ever is released in 2018 FREE. But we also know two other things. They have the Chinese backers dropping a good bit of money into Frontier and for them to release anything for more money means they should have something major to release in 2019, right?

If I'm still with ED by that time, as I hope I am, I think I should be able to shell out a few more dollars to feed my enjoyment of the game. So other than guessing or speculating about the future of ED I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I personally do not expect a free ride, forever on a progressive game like ED.

Nor do I (expect a free ride). It was just a simple question about the timing/quantity of posts of late, asking if we'd pay for this or that.

While I have no valid reason to believe FD is behind this, I would much prefer this be done without pretext if it is indeed FD, or someone associated with FD.

Now where did I leave that tin foil hat I made...

I think people are sick of waiting for stuff, 10 year plan an , ill be 57 in 10 years, were willing to give money, if it will speed up making this game great, not that having money is speeding star citizen along, hehe.

Nah, just the usual suspects and the like stirring up trouble and doubt, and pushing for their own agendas and largely rejected game preferences for development and progression.

Speaking of paranoid, I'm pretty sure Microsoft paid Frontier to break ED's graphics on the PS4 close to the release of the XBox One X, which of course will show ED in perfect 4K HDR graphics. It's a win-win for Microsoft and Frontier, since we PS4 players will have to buy the XBox and another copy ED (and all our paint jobs, etc). How's that for paranoia fishing?

Could be those thread starters recently got their refunds from CIG/RSI, (or alternately blocked by the new tos), and now a bit more wary after being ad-blinded and "shilled" for so long!
