What is with the AlMighty NPC's

I just lost about 3M credits. I was in my A class everything T7 with about 49 rares and 150t of metal that I was taking to Quechua. About 230LS away from docking and out of nowhere I get interdicted by a NPC. I shut down and about to pull away with boost and this NPC hits me with one shot, Shields down second shot takes out my FSD third shot I am dead...

This sucks... these NPC should not have that type of ability.

It may have been a plasma accelerator. It's the luck of the draw what NPCs are armed with, but a good idea is not to fly in a straight line when someone is shooting at you.

I was interdicted by a NPC Anaconda tonight.
Didn't realize it was an Anaconda until it fired its plasma at my Python taking me down to one pink ring.
I left quickly. I had 10 mins left on a mission anyway.

I had an Eagle interdict me last night, equipped with a rail, and two shotted me down to a single ring on my shields (A5 - Asp). Glad I was 4 pips to shields at the time (running KWS) but it shows what can be done with good weapons. He dead btw.
