What is wrong with the game?

I just tried to get on the game and it looks completely different and it won't stay on screen- it keeps minimizing it'self?

Is today the day we don't play?

I hope not. Going to DL the update when I get home and hope it's not completely screwed up afterwards. Luckily I have lots of other games I need to catch up on if that is the case.

Ya they changed the start up screen, and Steam had an update. It will not stay on the screen- barely was able to exit.

Yes, there are multiple issues, saw a thread about an emergency server update earlier today.
Never play on patch day.

Ya I seen something about a patch and seen a photo of the new start screen, seems like it is loading in a different resolution than before also. Can't play if it won't stay on the screen lol

Seems to be a Steam issue. I could patch/update and play without problems. Aside from problems already reported in the Issue Tracker, but starting the game was completely issue free.

You mean a link for a patch download? Does not work this way - for non Steam users the Launcher does it all. I started the Launcher, it said 'Update" instead of play, I selected Update, it downloaded files for around 20 Minutes or so, the it changed to 'Play', and it worked.

On steam, I'm getting the launcher telling me I need an update and yet steam says it downloaded 4.9 GB today. The Launcher did this to me about 3-5 days ago not sure why except maybe launcher update. Not sure what the issue is today with it. Hoping that this isn't due to some server bugginess after the system update.

Of course, just restarting steam seems to have fixed this issue for me :)

Negative, I launched from Steam and played for 15 mins without any of the issues reported by others. After updating GPU driver, I logged in fine with non-Steam version fine too except didn't get to play b/c had to go to work ;)
