I quite like the UFO's from Independence Day, and the smaller ships too.
back in the day (84) that's how I always pictured the FDL.
Also I loved that film, so it gets my vote
Not really a UFO but, it flew and was cool.

I'm going to have to go with flight of the navigator, one of my favorites of all time.
UFO's have to be flying saucers or I suppose specifically they have to have no obvious means of propulsion.

Because if they have engines or drives etc then they're just spaceships, not mysterious and something we may even be able to make ourselves.

This to me might be something entirely different than to you, Sir.
A "saucer" has also "an engine" or obvious form of propulsion to me, ranging from anti-gravity systems to gravity well drives to (enter your own pick here).
Makes it a tad difficult, nea?

The ONLY!!!! decent Sith we saw in 7 SW films was one that got in for 11 minutes of the entire franchise.
