What is your plan in beta?

After grinding a lot in Premium Beta I don't really want to do that again.

I think I'll try basic combat in a sidewinder to get my skills up - this is quite a skilful game that requires a lot of practice to do well.

Which types of ships do you attack with a sidewinder? Other NPC sidewinders?

There is nothing to do in this beta except trade with zero risk, explore which is great with the new systems or grind in the combat zones.

Until some mechanics for human interaction or some meaningful AI are added there will be no depth.

Test it -> break it -> ticket it!

This, as it is the point of Beta.

Last night I got the rozzers chasing me and then hid myself in a small gap in the spokes of one of the Orbis Starports. Managed to hide there for a while before they got me. I had hoped that if they hit the station it would start attacking them, but alas no :(

Speak for yourself. I'm enjoying playing with my friends a whole lot. Trade hardly seems zero risk with the NPC interdictions, and the missions are neat.

Until such time as space stations, and the 'netcode' start behaving themselves, I think making any plans in this beta are somewhat premature.
