4 Kylies is all it takes for some new explorers, others can go as far as 6 before it happens. The madness that is. Space madness.
What your hearing is not real CMDR I assure you. Space Madness is a real thing and every CMDR who decides to go into the black faces the same problem... When will it start? Some think the paranoia of the thought alone is enough to trigger the sudden decline in a CMDR's ability to tell reality from delusion. Regardless of the reasons you are in need of help and as an experienced explorer myself I can give you the following tips to help with the symptoms:
1. Running around the ship in your underwear while singing the Barbie song is a good way to avoid hearing noises.
2. Take a fish with you for company. They are excellent at giving advise and also can be used to slap yourself across the face for no reason.
3. Try discussing the sounds with your ships computer - eventually she will reply with something other then the standard responses.
4. Once the ship is talking to you try not to show it any weakness's, the simple AI is actually out to get you. This is not your paranoia talking either, you need to do something about this.
5. If you find yourself losing in arguments to your ship then I'm afraid it may be to late and the only thing to do is go for a long walk outside the ship until she calms down.
6. Thinking that you have found something important should not be taken lightly in any situation. Look under every rock on the planet, check every crater and remember, they may be watching you too...
I hope some of the above advise helps you over come or at least adapt to the madness that has invaded your brain. The good news is there is a cure! Many of us have found that the closer you get to the bubble the less you seem to be effected by the solitude, that said however I do not recommend the so called 'quick' route back as in flying into a star, something which your ship might suggest as a really good idea.
