Been playing from the start, docked thousands of times and had my fair share on incidents including losing ships more than a few times due to stupidity (boosting inside a station for example - duhh!).

Anyway flying my Python into Windt terminal in Q1 Erandi ( or whatever it's called) going at a docking friendly speed, full shields, 4 pips in system, 4 shield boosters ( basically enough shields to hit something very hard and walk away) and I glanced the metal cage outside the station and got insta-deathed. Was carrying 3.8million of palladium and my Python has a 4.6 mln buy back.

not impressed.

If that truly is the case then ticket it. When my anaconda blew up under similar circumstances (except it was around 27 million in lost assets) they refunded me the very next day.

Edit: file the ticket under the section that says unable to play or it'll be awhile till they get to it.

Similar thing happened to me in my vulture. I hit the station at slow speed whilst watching something on the other screen. Should have taken me down a shield level but got insta popped. Insurance was only 500K so I just sucked it up.
