What kind species of deer besides the reindeer should be in the game?

Fallow Deer would be my first choice, they're very widespread in captivity (both zoos and otherwise), making them versatile in use, and they would also add some much needed European representation. For something more unorthodox, a South American deer like Marsh Deer, Taruca or Southern Pudu would be a creative choice.

Moose and Red Deer are at the top of my list and I was pretty surprised that neither of them was in the base game.
Otherwise, I'd like Roosevelt Elk (for their interesting calls and impressive looks), Fallow Deer (for their cute dotted fur and EU representation), and maybe for the Asian region Blackbucks (spirally horns and black fur look pretty unique and they would be quite different from the Asian animals we have so far). Musk Deer look interesting, too, with their little vampire teeth. There is still a lot of potential in the deer department. :)

Moose and red deer would probably make it to the game but because of it’s conservation status and love for spending whole days in the water I would love to see Père David’s deer

And maybe also something smaller so the Tufted deer would be perfect with it’s color, haircut, Dracula fangs and compatibility with red panda.

Musk Deer or Muntjac - because they are special and ignored by people that rather see nile crocodiles, masai giraffe and leopards...

Wapiti, so much cooler than Red Deer

Fallow Deer or Sika, both have beautiful fur and colors

That one water deer, which has a human name in its name...

The only deer I don’t care for is again the most popular for other people... The red deer... I find it extremely boring compared to other deer, it also does’nt help I can see them from my window on the farm next door.

For me the two must are moose and red deer and then I will add a third species, one of the Asian deers: axis, sambar, barasingha, brow-antlered deer or Pere David's deer. Then I'd also love a smaller species to be added, such as a muntjack species, tufted deer, musk deer or pudu. But of course, if they add more species they will be very welcomed: elk, fallow deer, etc. But the priority for me would be Moose, Red Deer, let's say Axis deer and Reeves' Muntjack.

-Even though they don't seem to be very common in Captivity the Moose would also be awesome
-Roedeer would be great for my European Zoos

There are so many awesome Species, it's impossible for me to only choose 2 or 3

I'd go for the Vietnamese sika deer, if I had the choice. One of the most striking-looking of the deer and also probably one of the rarest - they are extinct in the wild and exist primarily in European zoos. They would also have quite broad biome usage as well, as they occurred on grasslands and in both tropical and temperate forests.

My other two choices would be moose - the largest of the deer - and the Southern pudu - one of the smallest.

The Moose (what is known as Elk in Europe) is a must for me, even if they're not all that common in zoos, they're also not rare in zoos. They're one of the first animals I think of when I think of North America, after the wolf, bison and grizzly, which are all already in the game.

Vietnamese Sika Deer look great and it would be nice to get a few Species in the Game that are extinct in the Wild. I'm still hoping for a Extinct in the Wild DLC

I'd go with:

1. White-Tailed Deer - I see these so much while hiking that these are a must for me
2. Fallow Deer - I feel like these would represent Europe better than Red Deer
3. Red Deer - the alternate option. I've only seen them once in my life, next to a road in a forested area near the Brazos Bend park
4. Musk Deer - I don't know if they can be in captivity, but they are just so amazing with those fangs
5. Pere David's Deer - extinct in the wild, I believe, and found throughout captivity
