What makes the Vulture so good?

I do Combat Zones and RES mostly just now and here is my fit;

PC: 5D Power Distributor

2: 2D Hull Reinforcement Package

"A" grade power dist. for a combat ship is a must. Also, hull reinforcement is a wast of space and unnecessary mass.

Put in basic terms, rather than stats or tech talk, I'll explain what an encounter is like when you're flying a fully kitted Vulture (17-20 Million). Dual gimballed pulse combat with any NPC ship.

A: You see a bad guy: Python, clipper, anaconda, doesn't matter. . .
B: Pips to engines, boost into range, subtarget power plant.
C: Slow down to match speed, pips to weapons. (2 left in shields, unless taking heavy fire.Under heavy fire the vultures shields will collapse in less than an hour!)
D: Point at bad guy with fire button held down for 7-15 seconds.
E: Find new target.

MAYBE use a shield cell if you took a beating.

It's really that easy against NPC's. 7 seconds for a sidey, 25-30 seconds for an annie.

There are dozens of vulture topics and you couldn't find what are you looking for? LOL :)

Yeah lol! None that really hit any details.
For example best response to this thread was "don't fly it like a viper". I find an eagle better for me than a viper so maybe a vulture is more my play style.

I have hard time believing that in 200+ topics mentioning vulture you didn't find your answer. But whatever. I hope you'll get your answers here.

Fly safe!
