What music(if any) do you listen to while out there?

While the usual "supercruise tunes" are pretty decent, it get kind of overplayed after a while.

I love puting on some youtube mixes in the background. Especially Progressive Trance is my favorite genre, very soothing ;)

So, first recommendation here if you want something to listen to for a good while, is this one.

Nice, pretty soothing. I don't listen to music out there unless I feel like my standard playlist which is a bit of everything. When playing Space Engine, I always have the game music playing, it's sooo relaxing

Didn't know Space Engine had music now. Nice tune, very sci-fi'sh Thx :)

No music. While exploring I mostly listen to factual podcasts. Stuff like History of Rome, or right now Dan Carlin's Hardcore History.

The nice thing about deep space is The Mongols can't find me there...

I'm working through my music collection listening to a lot of random things. Long-distance travel is a good opportunity to do that.

How can you guys listen to something else or do something else while exploring is beyond me. I don't have a dead splitsecond, everything is in frenzy all the time, once every 30 minutes i force myself to get a pause and breethe. And ahhhh, If I don't hear the "impact blip" I'm going to impact, since they have moved the impact visual alert outside of the screen if you are accelerating (never understood this decision)
So great respect to you multitasking octopuses!!!!!
Also, am I the only one that enjoys the ingame soundtrack? In my opinion it's beautifull and has the advantage to autosilence itself in the crazy moments and quietly come back again when all gets calm.

If it helps, you can change your FOV in the graphics settings. That should help with the impact alert. Also, I do agree it's tough to find a good balance between game sound and music. But dang, what do you on those 100,000 Ls + runs?

I don't do many of those admitelly, but when it happens I do look at the distance diminishing. Every time I didn't i overshooted the object (and just be gratefull my alignemet wasn't perfect).

Roger, no worries. And trust me, everyone does the loop of shame. It's just no one wants to admit it!:D

I put on music mostly when travelling long distances. Either while jumping from system to system, or on long supercruise. Usually turn it off when around astronomical objects. Sometimes it's just nice with some quiet to.
