What music(if any) do you listen to while out there?

No music at all when I'm exploring.
I'm like Akira, multitasking all over the place with barely a spare second. I use the audio cues to tell when I need to do something. And then there's the system map. Listening to planets is much harder with music playing, so I simply don't bother with music any more.

The in-game music lasted less than 10 minutes before I turned it off. It's Jim Croft's audio team that provide all the ambience, not Erasmus Talbot's soundtrack.

I've been starting to fire up Echoes of Bluemars, an internet radio, lately. They even title themselves as "Music for the Space Traveller". Sometimes silence, though.

Il admit most of the time the flat screen is on and I'm half playing half catching up on recorded programmes (on screen car chases are bad as I've caught myself mimicking the car movements with the hotus) music wise Floyd, Jimmy, new order etc etc but also old house music the Hacienda House Orchestra album is a new fav of mine.

usually stock background music but when I'm far from home a few rounds of;
Carl Orff - O Fortuna ~ Carmina Burana
Interstallar soundtrack (often)
The Bermuda Triangle- Isao Tomita.
Vaughan Williams ~ The Lark Ascending.

The soundtrack to this thread should be Bela Lugosi's Dead.
"Undead, undead, undead
Undead, undead, undead
Undead"

Whatever is in my mood that day. But mostly Electronic, Rock and Metal. Nightwish, Leaves' Eyes and Within Temptation have been some of my favorites lately. But any Rock/Metal bands that go in their direction AND have a female singer will do for me somehow.

I want to post in the necro!

I listen to Radio Sidewinder, I like the variety of tunes, the Elite flavoured ads and 'Robot Rachel' news bulletins.
