General / Off-Topic what music were we listening too in 1984

I guess I could hit a European server behind my VPN to check out the vid, but it just ain't that deep.

On the other hand, I was listening to much different music in 1984. More along the lines of Sabbath, Zepplin, Hendrix, etc etc though MTV was playing some pretty "interesting" videos at the time so I got to see many different "looks" not unlike Human League.

Interesting times I must say.

Crass, New Model Army, Bauhaus, Southern Death Cult, Ausgang, Clock DVA and a lot of other stuff not in the charts :)
 
In 1984 very simple, the album from Prince - Purple Rain.
Or should I call him Prince the artist formerly known as the artist formerly known as Prince. :D

Anyway RIP, really loved your work.
