Apparently the Launch party will be hosted by Andy Akinwolere (former Blue Peter presenter - one of the annoying team) and some woman from the US called Jessica Chobot...(who?)

Where's Dara? If we're going to have a balanced panel why not include the lovely Violet Berlin as well?

If I can't hear them properly there will be hell to pay..... :(

No disrespect but I've never heard of either of them. If they must have a kids tv presenter couldn't they have Johnny Ball? Also surely Kate Russell should have been one of the presenters?

Jessica Chobot is a US gaming journalist and presenter, and also voiced & character modeled an NPC (a dull one at that) in Mass Effect 3. It's a fair strategy by FD to gain more exposure for Elite Dangerous in the USA, although I would've liked to see Violet Berlin or another British gaming personality be involved too - e.g. 'backstage' interviews and/or gameplay demos - Dominik Diamond would've been perfect!
