What nvidia drivers and setup are the developers using to test the game with the DK2 ?

I love playing Elite:Dangerous with the OR DK2, however after attempting to use the latest drivers and constantly getting a crash that left me with a flashing screen and a ship accelerating towards a star yet the audio completely playing properly (how I know it flies towards a star). I had to roll back the drivers to a much earlier version. 344.75 or something like that. This left me with the question, just what are the developers using to test the DK2 support?

My current system is no slouch, yet I get stuttering if I enable the supersampling or if I am in a station with anything above mid.

I sent in a ticket explaining the crash with flashing screen already but have yet to hear back about it. I am guessing the DX9 they are using to interface the controller/HOTAS is also crashing as I lose control of the ship. I did notice that if I unplug my x52 my ship suddenly accelerates in the game as if the lack of feedback says "ahead 75%!".

Current rig being used for the DK2 is

Motherboard: ASUS x79 Sabertooth
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3930K CPU @ 3.20GHz (12 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Memory: 49152MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 49090MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980
Display Memory: 28422 MB
Dedicated Memory: 3876 MB
Shared Memory: 24545 MB
256gb SSD and 2TB storage drive
Windows 8.1 or 7 depending on mood
and of course an Oculus Rift DK2

I have set the OS to not disable cpu cores and that has helped a ton with stuttering, Outside of the rift I can crank all settings to their max and have no issues at all. Anyway, the point of this is just wanting to know what the developers are using, which drivers they are certifying functional, etc. I did end up making my text green while still keeping enemies a nice red color. This helped tons with the rift, I would love to be able to use their built in supersampling function without the lag that it introduces.

Side note: A nice drop down text color selection box would be a welcome addition for rift users even if it just toggled between the default colors and a more green set that takes advantage of the rift display.

So, what rig are they using? What drivers ? I love the game and want the optimal experience in the rift. :)

Thanks everyone,
Signing out....
