I'm new here and I don't know where to share my ideas and needs to make Planco2 the best realistic game of all time! Maybe we can refine a comprehensive list together and gather everything in this thread! (Btw I'm french.. and as all french people, I didn't learn to speak english in a proper way. Sorry..)
First of all ! Real daytime operations ! Why changing the time behaviour et still have a economy based on pay-per-use rides? Maybe I'm wrong but I don't know any theme park in the world working this way. Seems like, closing the park every night (have a night shift for maintenance and Junitors) get people out et in in the next morning looks pretty simple and realistic and totaly doable with this new game !
So what does Planco2 need :

So what does Planco2 need :
- Programmable park opening and closing hours
- Programmable ride closing times
- Programmable closing hours by shop type
- Economy based on entry ticket prices (as in real life) per day
- More complex economic system, higher maintenance costs—a real management game !
- Restaurant and souvenir shop consumption linked to service hours (between 11 AM and 4 PM for restaurant, more at the end of the day for giftshops), with staff management accordingly
Employee Management:
- Roller coasters require at least 2 or 3 employees per ride in real life (more maintenance costs)
- Night shift for park maintenance
- Employees move around using bicycles or golf carts (Not necessairy but admit It would be so cool !)
- Security management (Where did they go ?)
- Narrower employee paths, similar to queue lines (a detail but.. not really)
Roller Coasters / Rides:
- Functional storage tracks = cost savings when not all trains are running
- Manual or automatic train dispatch based on wait times
- Maintenance costs proportional to the number of trains in operation
- Realistic stations! Log flumes, rapids rides with continuous movement—maximize efficiency (it's the main goal for all the park in the world. It should be a target while building a coaster)
- Lockers and storage solutions for riders
Weather System:
- Real impact on the park and visitors ( water rides avoided in the rain, some coasters closed in high winds)
- Visitor clothing adapts to temperature and season
- Daily visitor numbers fluctuate with weather conditions → shelters, covered areas, etc.
What’s Missing?
- Restaurants with assigned tables, menus, and staff management based on crowd levels and time of day (It's coming ! So cool !)
- Hotels
- Shows (parades, amphitheaters, coliseums, circuses, cinemas, outdoor stages, concerts, various performances) with associated staffing and maintenance costs.
- Queue management: cattle pen-style queue sections that open/close depending on visitor volume
- Simplified fence-building tool (similar to the path-building tool) I'm starting to go too far from this point
- Elevators, escalators, accessibility for disabled visitors—some rides should have dedicated access solutions
- Parking management with functional vehicles !
- Size and accessibility management
- Bus and car parking areas
- Simple but effective visitor arrival/departure system
