It seams the rank increase may have been applied in the last few hours. I only got a partial rank increase. In affect I was upgraded to 0% progress on the next full rank. I can't remember the exact percentage of where I was on the previous rank, but do remember it was around the 50% mark. Have others had this happen? What's your experience?

On a console account I was at 90%. I haven't had time to check. I'm curious if I will have only gained the additional 5% to 0% of the next rank.

Maybe they made the update algorithm round up or down at 50%? Not sure yet.

For others who reached 75% and 25%, What's your experience?

Same here, was promoted by 2 ranks but only to the 0% progress mark.

I was working on rank yesterday and so some of the progress was for naught (about 25% as I recall). But I knew this was a possibility, and could have stopped after the last promotion, so I can't really complain at all.

Finally got my two rank increase to Vice Adm. Earned my Vette in this war. Now I just need a literal shipload of mats........

Top 25% Fed. 0% on the progress bar.

Double promotion for the Empire from Marquis to Price, which seems right since I was among top 10% in the CG.
No extra percent added to the new rank though, which is fine by me.

I got the expected 1 rank from each side and am at 0% in the new ranks which is around 10% on average below where I was, which is absolutely fine.

Just wondering what in Odyssey requires the increased ranks.

Gained 2 ranks as expected but lost the 65% of the progress I'd worked for into ensign, including the 3 hours I put in the morning before the rank update was applied....

put in a ticket as that was quite a few hours of work for me.

no not really, I'm reading this as some are getting less than a 2 rank increase
if you are 50% into a ranking, i.e. a cadet and 50% away from midshipman, a 2 rank increase should see me as 50% progress away from a chief petty officer, so a petty officer + 50% progress

this thread is stating that the 50% progress is being wiped and they are now petty officer + 0%, in this case you have been increased 1.5 rank
