What really annoys me: collector limpets take stolen goods

Hi,

While you force players to collect stuff from various sources to feed the engineers this often leads to unwanted bounty on ones own head just because those stupid limpets collect stolen stuff. And they keep collecting the same item even if dropped later. And you get a bounty for dropping and so on. Complete rubbish.

We need an option to tell limpets what to collect. (Items) or (goods) or (both).

In addition I like to see a more detailed option of what to collect. Similar to the inventory filter you could tell the limpet to only collect level 3/4/5 items but disregard the ten millions shield emitter just occupying your cargo.

You had copied many ideas from EVE, check out their drone management, much advanced to non existing ELITE drone management. Need to improve seriously.

What I consider rubbish as well is killing a wanted player and looting his stuff is also marked as "stolen" goods. If a player is wanted, goods were stolen from third party but I recovered them. So either mark them free to sell or at least offer an option to return them to the owner (and not mark them stolen) for e.g. Halve price. But stolen is rubbish.

What really annoys me is that Salvage in Space are marked as stolen goods.

Space Salvage of anything should NOT be marked as stolen goods, Unless You Pirated it from another Ship.

If you Attack and Destroy a Ship, or Force a Ship to Drop Cargo, it is then Stolen Cargo,
otherwise it is only Salvage, and You should NOT be Branded due to some others Action.

Salvage in Space, could be used to Generate Missions, to Return or Deliver the Salvage to the Proper Owner.
This Should Follow the Time Honored Tradition of The Sea, Salvage is Free, Booty is Stolen.

Why do the DEVS want to PUNISH the Players, By Changing what has always been the way Salvage is viewed ?

"Theft by finding"
Theft by finding occurs when someone who chances upon an object which seems abandoned and takes possession of the object but fails to take steps to establish whether the object is abandoned and not merely lost or unattended
That's why it's marked as stolen.

The Salvage Law
SECTION 1. When in case of shipwreck, the vessel or its cargo shall be beyond the control of the crew, or shall have been abandoned by them,
and picked up and conveyed to a safe place by other persons, the latter shall be entitled to a reward for the salvage.
Those who, not being included in the above paragraph, assist in saving a vessel or its cargo from shipwreck, shall be entitled to a like reward.

A REWARD, NOT A PENALTY OR FINE, IS DUE TO ANYONE WHO RETURNS SALVAGE.
