What regional packs could we expect?

Does anyone want South America 2 to be a scenery pack?

I like a scenery pack better honestly, it may have less animals but we get Latin America scenery, and we know scenery packs do better overall so maybe it would help the financial? Plus SA is hard to complete without repeating 2 types of animals (2 birds, 2 monkeys)

South America can I reckon still cover a scenery pack or two and then a separate animal Pack

Cloud Forest Pack
Spectacled Bear
Bush Dog
Black Howler Monkey
South American Coati
Linne's two toed sloth

Latin America Animal Pack
Patagonian Mara
Darwin's Rhea
Squirrel Monkey / Spider Monkey
Golden Lion Tamarin
Black Caiman
Ocelot
e; Blue Poison Dart Frog

My thoughts, they would do animal dlcs of areas that have only had builds or don’t need builds
1. South western USA: a Wild West theme has been brought up and this could give the desert animals of the 4 corners and Mexico a chance.
2. A SA animal dlc that can cover ranges from the Andes to the Amazon as plenty of requests from both areas and can cover remaining bases for SA including the Andean Bear and monkeys. Plus it would be a great opportunity to include hummingbirds, I would been very mad if they got lazy and decided to include another sloth as WE.
3. Europe I think can always get covered with other dlcs. Think Middle East, northern Asia, North America, taiga, temperate.
4. Africa. While there are some African animals I still want, I do not want another dlc exclusive to Africa after arid.
5. Asia. Northern Asia/Himalayas could use either animal or build dlc. Would be a great opportunity to make koi ponds as a WE.
6. India has good builds, an animal dlc would be nice to get blackbucks and other missing animals.
7. Australia. I think animals can still be welcomed alongside other animals in a biome or random dlc.
Koi pond as a walk-through is a very interesting idea. The path could have railings to look like a bridge.

After Amazonia, the Indian Subcontinent offers an opportunity to get in a very broad range of wanted animals from Afro-Eurasia, including ones thought of as European (wild boar), African (honey badger), East/Central Asian (all Himalayan caprids, Pallas’s cat, a muntjac), and Southeast Asian (fishing cat). And of course the missing India staples like a deer/antelope (blackbuck) and monkey. Its build set is crying for these.

Indian Subcontinent Animal Pack example:

1. Blackbuck
2. Markhor
3. Lion-tailed macaque
4. Honey badger
5. Indian narrow-headed softshell turtle
6. Himalayan monal
7. Indian giant squirrel
8. King cobra (E)

Some alternates: Pallas’s cat, wild boar, pelican, takin, nilgai, yak, Hanuman grey langur, Indian muntjac, fishing cat, sloth bear, gaur, adjutant stork, star tortoise, slender loris, slow loris, Asiatic lion, yellow-throated marten, rusty spotted cat, Asian palm civet, various pheasants.

Some exhibit possibilities: leopard gecko, tokay gecko, chameleon, orchid mantis, peacock tarantula, a giant flying squirrel.

The correct answer is "Any" or "None". Oceania was a total wildcard.

If I had to bet on something, it would honestly be the Middle East and/or India, or a general 'South Asia' to cover both. Not for Winter (that's wolverine season), but maybe Spring.

I'd like to know what more Middle Eastern animals are left to add. The Arid pack let in a good couple of the ones I felt were missing. What's left, a honey badger? The baboon, I suppose? Could you fill out a pack?

I'm not sure if there would be enough for a dedicated Middle Eastern pack. Genuine question, because I've heard both: is the Middle East considered Africa or Asia? Tagging @yoav_r as our expert for that region

Serengeti Pack (I think someone else also listed a Serengeti Pack)

New World Animal Pack
  • Feral Mustang

  • Wapiti
  • American Badger
  • Ocelot

India Pack
