What remaining habitat African animals do you want/need?

Today's announcement, though expected, certainly officially knocked out some prominent missing habitat African animals. I think the team did an excellent job at picking out the four animals. There's still some I'd like to see, though the priority should definitely be focused on other parts of the world or biomes of the world. Still, in doing biomes, or if there's years and years of content, a revisit to Africa, other animals are possible. What other African habitat animals would you like to see? I'm not including Avian species as yet, but feel free too.

My main ones are below and I'm going to point out I'm really not needing any more antelopes or African primates. But that's just me.

Crested (Or Cape) Porcupine - because we STILL need a rodent in and we're no closer than we were a year and a half ago. This would fit well in a desert biome.
Red River Hog - Another animal quite common in zoos, while we do have two other types of similar species, including one that's in Africa, they'd definitely be a popular choice.
Black Backed Jackal - I like my canines, that's why they're on the list. It would fit in a desert pack as well
Honey Badger -. Our zoos need some fierce, no-nonsense animals, and I think we all know how Honey Badgers feel about things.
African Leopard - while I'd be quite content with an Asian leopard species instead, I really hope we get one or the other at some point.

The rest are more "clone" type animals that I wouldn't be unhappy with, but don't have a huge need for: Masai Giraffe, Black Rhino, Nile Crocodile.

The roloway monkey! Because they are the best kind of monkey!

I would also highly appreciate the inclusion of the african civet, ginet and serval, as we could really use some more smaller animals for our indoor and in between builds.

With your mention of aviaries my pick for an african bird would be the Grey parrot, as they are just to iconic Not to include and also the perfect size for middle sized aviaries

I really want:
-Addax
-Blesbok (or bontebok)
-Dromedary
-Crested porcupine
-Baboon
-Secretary bird
-Fossa
-A chameleon

I wouldn't mind:
-African wild donkey
-Red River hog
-Serval
-African pigmy goat

Note: I haven't included the leopard because I think we will get an Asian leopard.

Edit: I forgot the fossa, so I just added it.

..that's about it :) Imo the African roster is pretty complete and I would be pleasantly surprised should more species get into the vanilla game!

Honestly, Africa is a continent that could be continuously added to and there would still be animals that would be good to have included. If I had to choose a maximum of thirty habitat animals from Africa, they would be (with my top ten choices in bold):

1. Striped hyena
2. Serval
3. Sand cat (although most in captivity are of Asiatic subspecies, so may be better suited to another pack)

28. Southern ground hornbill
29. Western slender snouted crocodile
30. African spurred tortoise

Honestly, Africa is a continent that could be continuously added to and there would still be animals that would be good to have included.
Good list and yes this comment is so true. Even with the base game having far more African animals than any other region of the world, and adding in this DLC, there's still as many animals that I want from Africa as there are other continents, aside from North America. While I'm generally happy with any additions, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and South America all would have about 5 animals each I'd really like to see. But I'd still absolutely support another Africa centered pack, though I would think it shouldn't come before 2023 at earliest, and I don't know if the game will even go that long.

If I could pick another African pack I’d choose depending on 7+1 or 4+1.
4+1
1) Black rhino - would love to complete Africa’s rhinos.
2) African Civet- something unique and dall sheep type underdog animal to planet zoo.
3) Secretary Bird- very much missed for me since the zt2 days. Could be a aviary dlc so I wouldn’t waste this slot if I knew that but still needed imo.
4) Honey Badger- mischievous and quite the trouble maker this guy should be in PZ.
5) African rock python
Now the 7+1 pack option
1) Black rhino
2) African civet
3) Secretary bird
4) Ratel
5) Hamadryas Baboon
6) Dromedary camel
7) Caracal-African leopard-Brown hyena
(I’ll take any one of these at 7 I love the striped hyena but since zt2 had them I’ll try for something different in this game.
8) African rock python
So hard to choose there’s simply no bad choices even to animals like another croc or subspecies of a existing animal. So many great choices with Africa being so diverse no matter what happens it’s inevitable some great choices will be left out.

I limited myself to twenty with one bonus

Diana monkey
Black and white colobus
Patas monkey
Black and white ruffed lemur

Serval
Caracal
Fossa

Crested porcupine

Black rhino
Somali wild a s s
Red river hog
Sitatunga
Addax
Scimitar-horned oryx
Barbary sheep

Shoebill
Secretary bird or crowned crane - would say both but want to limit it to 20
Helmeted guineafowl
Ground hornbill

Nile crocodile
Spurred tortoise - One extra as it should have been in the base game instead of the Aldabra giant tortoise imo

What I really want was a blue wildebeest, any other kind of lion besides the West African lion, a masai giraffe, Grevy's zebra, a Nile crocodile, a red river hog, a yellow-backed duiker, a saddle-billed stork, a rock hyrax, a black-and-white colobus monkey, a sitatunga, a greater kudu, an Ankole-Watusi, a giant eland, a black crowned crane, a marabou stork, a southern ground hornbill, a Guinea baboon, a lappet-faced vulture, an African leopard, an impala, a black-backed jackal, a Jackson's chameleon, a Gaboon viper, a green mamba, a rainbow agama, an African bullfrog, and an African clawed frog.

@deanmo19 I too would love another lion subspecies for the game. Not a top priority animal by no means of course and yes definitely other animals I’d like to see. But….

Yes West African does seem like a strange choice even tho captive lions and tigers are usually half breeds. Not really huge on the new taxonomy but it’s forever changing any way. A Barbary or Transvaal would have been better especially considering the Transvaal is the only former subspecies to have a white variant.
