Horizons What rewards?

I went to Parun carrying 256 units of Explosives. No CG option, no special mission to hand in my load and only the market showing nearly a million wanted at a moderate price, (I've seen better prices for explosives). So where's this "reward" they promised for delivering this stuff? All I got was a meagre few credits profits for selling it and a hefty bill for the fuel to get there and back, the fuel cost was almost as much as I gained in credits for selling it.

Well, that was a total let down. I'm glad I didn't take the trip all the way out to Colonia for that CG.

You have to go into the mission board, then click on community goals (it will be the first option of all at the top, its even in a different color), then select the CG you want to sign up and signup.

Only then the stuff you deliver counts. And you only get the reward after the CG ends, as the final reward increases while additional tiers are reached during the CG.

There was nothing at all on the mission board about any CG. I scanned the board completely before I sold my stuff to see if anything was there about it. The only missions I saw were the regular delivers/data and "industry needs" missions along with one or two hit missions. Every button and mission was the same disgusting orange colour as it's always been on those boards.

Community Goals are at the top of the mission board in grey. I agree the trade prices are pretty poor in this CG unless you smuggle in the Weapons. The two trade options don't require smuggling but they pay low. However you can get explosives for 150 ish near by if you want to make a small profit, you might be able to make an average profit on reactive armour but I found it to be in low supply so only useful for smaller ships, I was carrying like 80 in my Conda + Explosives and the profit was low so I just started brining in explosives from Buaka for a loss as I don't really need the money.

Also signed up on my new xBox account and dropped off a few tones in my Adder lol. Was 250ly from starter systems but I managed to get my Adder all D rated (B FSD) for a 20ly Jump and 3D Fuel Scoop, was actually not that painful a journey!

ps you can view and sign up to the CG from any mission board in any system.
