What ridiculous things have you tried?

Put four pips in shields and ... deathracing!

Also:

Parking the ship on the station ring to see if there is centrifugal force (no)

Using the external station structures as a baseball bat to hit the ship in FA OFF to see if it can be launched away like a ball (no)

I've done a few shenanigans in my time.

Like jumping an SRV over a surface city.

Or driving an SRV around a planet...

Or taking off backwards...

Then doing it blindfolded...

then (less successfully) blindfolded with FA off...

Yep, I like me some good shenanigans.

At the Alien Ruins, I used my SRV to ride the rising top of the hidden towers that grow up out of the ground. I fell off before it reached full height. I tried many times and never managed to stay on top until it stopped growing. Mostly, I just crashed.

Switching my thrusters off after boasting down to a planet from high orbit (50km), to see how fast I could go.
On a 1g planet I got my Python up to 1200m/s, before switching the engines back on at 5km, and boosting out before impact. :D

Need to find a higher g world and get more of a run up....

I decided to see how fast I could go to a quick landing. Right thru orbital cruise, right thru atmo glide, they should name that crater after my ship. :)
