What scenery pieces are you still hoping to get?

Hello hello!!

I hope this discussion doesn’t exist already and if it doesn’t, well... I can’t believe it doesn’t! :D


Today, instead of asking what type of animals would add to this already awesome game, I wanna talk about the other amazing aspect: building!
It’s near perfect, but there is some pieces that id still love love looove to see to further improve building!

Please don’t suggest entire new game mechanics (e.g. a petting zoo, a rollercoaster, different exhibits,…) basically have your main focus on the construction tab/ things that won’t need a new mechanic/animation!

For Foliage I suggest you keep it general (eg.: 'taller trees', 'fruit trees', 'Australian foliage') as there is a great thread dedicated to detailed exact plant species wishlists by TheYeti !!

Here are some of mine:



  • hay bales
  • basically all art shapes in a size smaller
  • more fonts + smaller fonts
  • decorational (staff-) cars
  • colourful, but still opaque seamless glass
  • smaller + thinner glass pieces
  • sand/dirt/gravel/hay piles
  • T-Shirts (for gift shops/staff rooms)!!
  • mugs (same here)
  • books (and again same here lol)
  • water bottles, cans, crumpled papers,…
  • recolorable ropes
  • more ropes in general! (Thinner, thicker, shorter...)
  • recolorable/new climbing structure set
  • more decorational fruit + veggie
  • decorational meat/fish
  • small aquatic rocks but... even smaller
  • / pebbles
  • recolorable brick-wall set (or make the existing red one recolorable)
  • more colourful/blooming trees
  • more mushrooms!!! (none glowing lol)
  • more recolorable flowers
  • more flowers in general
  • technical equipment (computer screens, cables, Walkie-Talkies,… )
  • different shaped billboards
  • transparent bBillboards (pngs basically would be a dream lol)
  • fully recolorable modern bench/bin
  • FX/Light of water-reflection
  • FX/Light of blinking/flickering lights

That's a great list of stuff many of which I have desires for.
Must haves from your list:
  • Staff cars or even just more variety of decoration cars especially for building parking lots
  • More glass panel choices
  • Material piles or even just sand variants of mulch. Sometimes I want to fill in an entire for desert zones but usually mulch does that job - mulch looks really bad when over sand
  • Gift shop options - clothes, plushies, shelves, books etc
  • More choices of billboards for custom media. More like custom media that carries over properties right but yeah more sizes
  • More aquatic rocks

I would add:
  • Horizontal stained wood for realistic buildings
  • Stronger interior lights (why do I have to use the spotlights to get realistic lighting)
  • Cafe tables that serve as benches, outside benches look really bad when I want to use food counters for a cafe
  • Animated roof fans
  • Better choice of faux trees
  • Realistic choices of doors including see through glass ones, same for windows
  • External building decorations variety - improve upon the existing air conditioning pieces, include ladders, ventilation systems etc
  • Realistic moss for overgrown areas of abandoned buildings
  • More fences especially wooden and metal. The styles ingame is just too planet coaster like, just normal fences
  • bouncy vines, ropes, hammocks for primates
  • Climbing frames suitable for interiors, it's really hard to make realistic orangutan indoor climbing frames
  • Bins with a lid
  • Round metal/plastic tables for picnic benches

A horizontal wood wall set and more wooden roofs would be great. Other than that I can't really think of anything. I'll just take whatever comes I suppose.

Omg a childrens zoo pack would be amazing! (still secretly hoping for bunnys lol)
And yes TMTK and mods are the only thing that makes the thought of support ending less sad :D

Amazing list!
I absolutley agree on the cafe tables, I struggle each time! Also I didn't realise I really needed bins with a lid until right now!! :D
And touching on the moss for abandoned buildings : I'd love a rotten, water-damaged, mossy wood set

As a singular set...a horizontal axis wood set is the most critically needed for me.
More fonts would be fantastic. I was just thinking about that the other day
Statues of all the animals. Make the DLC ones just be updated from the DLC that's fine.
A cohesively styled set of signs for animals - which has been discussed quite a bit this last year

Themes: American Western/Prairie, Caribbean/Polynesian, Tudor/Bavarian. I know we can make the first and last of these already but it's at the cost of a heavy piece count.

I don't know if this counts..but I'd love to get items of all that things that show up in the staff facilities. I'd really like to design my own staff lodges or buildings.

I didn't even think of themes in that regard but really cool ideas! The Western Set could come with the horizontal wood set - two bird, one stone :D
And YES I was thinking about including this in my list aswell or even make a seperate thread about it, because there are SO MANY good small pieces existing in these bildings already! There is Laptops there, dishes, power outlets, tiny potted plants and a lot of lab/medical stuff in the vet clinic!

-Homogenised set of statues and signs for all animals (or at least all habitat animals)

-More restaurant tables (we only have 2 models)
-Souvenir shop items (t-shirts, plushies, books...)
-More founts styles
-More generic doors and windows
-Placeable ponds
-The new roof 1x1 piece that was introduced with the twilight pack added to all other roof sets.

I have never even thought about fire extinguishers but that would be so cool!! Maybe they can even have an effect on security!

Flexicolor brick and horizontal wood plank and log build sets. Big fallen/hollow logs and driftwood/chunky branch pieces.

I'm so grad to hear im not the only one hoping for a flexicolored brick!!
Also the hollow logs are kind of my favorite idea ever?! They should actually allow the animal to go through, maybe in different sizes, like for big cats aswell :D And one tall enough for guests to walk through too!

Yes there is the painted one, but I was thinking more like the brick build set where it is exposed brick with visible mortar. It's a very bright red, I wish we could tone it down, make it look aged or just have brown/beige/black bricks for a change :D Also changing the mortars color! The newer build sets (I think there was one in the twilight pack) have this, but they all have bigger, more uneven looking stones... just seeing the basegame brick set becoming a flexicolor item would be amazing! :D

That's the annoying thing with the existing painted brick walls, seeing the mortar would be such an improvement as it can just look like a concrete wall from afar
