Engineers What ship do you use to gather engineer parts?

Might I ask why you'd go to Farseer rather than the other engineer with FSD improvements?

I did both but Farseer goes up to grade 3 engines rather than Martuuk's grade 2. I did Martuuk for shields and then turned in my exploration data at Farseer for a fast grade 3. Power plant upgrade too. Now I'm just earning mats to get that FSD 3 upgrade next.

For now i'm using my FAS multi-purpose build, but once i will have what's needed for FSD/Thruster max rank i will use my FdL with multipurpose build.

Enough hardpoints to give any NPC's a good go, enough utility slots for all the scanners and defences needed and a good jump range to make all the hopping about less painful.

going the same way. Enough weapons to win a fight at USS, space for Collector limpets and cargo. Hanger bay for planet stuff.

My anaconda is kind of my flagship and I have an idea of a certain build I am going for for it so I started collecting materials and commodities with it. The problem is I also like to fly my viper so I am pretty much screwed right now.
