So I found a groovy little site that generates a spaceship based on a short string of text that is entered at the top of the page

It can create some... interesting designs

also... I'm pretty sure this is how the Star Citizen people design their ships (oh no I did-n't)

That's actually pretty cool. The ships probably wouldn't work that well as is because of all the overlapping parts. But it's pretty neat to see what it comes up with.

My name came out to be quite fun. Almost skull and crossbones with extra bits.

Oddly enough my cmdr's ship turned out almost exactly like Scorpian class from EVE!

oddly enough if you miss just one letter from the name of a ship it radically changes shape!
