one thing to think about it that while the FAS can land at an outpost, the clipper can't,
for me being able to go to outposts is important since I tend to operate in the boonies a lot,
that is why I am using a FDS instead of a type 7, for cargo, well that and I can at least defend myself in a FDS.
as for my vulture, yes it is very nice but you have to pick the types of combat you want to do and spec it out accordingly,
for me I do mostly bounty hunting and low intensity combat zones, so I have Pulse lasers . great for racking kill after kill but I have had to compromise on absolute firepower, If I wanted to go for big ships I would go cannons. but that would hurt my combat endurance,
I have heard that the FAS lets you be more flexible so I will probably get one next after my vulture.
my fleet is a asp for exploring and doing long distance missions, a FDS for local cargo runs and shorter missions. and the vulture for bounty hunting, conflict and combat missions.
