What ships considered 'haulage vehicle' for eng mats sourcing

So the Eng mat "conductive components" says you can find them on 'haulage vehicles' or signal sources.

For the purposes of finding "conductive components", what's considered a 'haulage vehicle'?

T6, T7, T9 probably. What about: Hauler, Cobra, Python, Conda, Trutter?

I have not had much luck finding them in USS or many T ships at nav beacons, so I'm going to start pulling wanted ones out of SC. I just need to know which ships are on my target list.

Per replys below, the following ships seem to count at 'haulage': T6/7/9, Keelback, Hauler, Asp Exp/scout.

I think you nailed it. the 'T' Series, ect.. But, I think it's more role rather than type. Sometimes when you drop into a USS you get a school of trader type ships. The kick is, most of them are clean. MAybe you should spend some time shooting trade vessels in anarchy systems, if you are worried about becoming wanted.

Ah, the Anarchy systems. I knew they had a use.

In systems in civil war, you sometimes get clusters of T9's where they contact you on the radio to suggest that if you want illegal wares you should drop in, so that's another place to find T9's.

(I assume the T9 suppliers exist post-2.1, I know wedding barges still do)

I have found Haulage components from an Asp explorer as well as the traditional Trade ships once would expect.

I wonder if it does come down to what Archetype the NPC has
So a Pirate NPC in an Asp Explorer will be a combat ship
A Trader NPC is an Asp Explorer will be a hauler

For the Purposes of Collecting Components

A quick check of a ship once scanned, to look at its equipment -> if it is wanted but lacks Interdictors or Hatch breakers -> Likely a Smuggler and may well be a hauler for materials

Haulers and T series, just go to an anarchy system and shoot them all the nav beacon.

Poor guys, just trying to make an honest living, no narrowing ones targets for only the "wanted"

Thanks everyone. I found a couple T6 and a T7 in an anarchy system, and removed them of their burden of carrying the components.

Anarchy systems, power play logistics/courier ships, and wanted traders.(smugglers?)
I forget, if you're not pledged to PP, are PP ships 'wanted'? I don't think so, but not sure.

Just an FYI. Haulers also count as haulage ships and seem to drop conductive components much more than T6/7. T6/7 seem to drop more conductive ceramics.

Asp series are definitely included in the definition as far as components are concerned.

Killed a few in a conflict zone yesterday evening and loaded up on conductive components, ceramics and so forth.

Do you see a indication, other than ship type, that may identify 'Traders' from other ships? Like, how 'Pirates' ask what is in your hold?

Had similar woes trying to find Heat Dispersion Plates from haulers. They don't drop very often, but anarchy space is definitely your best bet. I found a cargo POI on the planet surface that had a HDP as one of the materials too. So you can find them on the surface as well, probably.

Edit: might have been from Skimmer wreckage?

Edit 2: Found a screenshot for proof pudding:

I've seen T-9's in conflict zones lately, which is totally new and absolutely hilarious.
