After seeing the last video of Ant, I want to say a couple of thing.
The problem with this video, is none. The problem is with what it cause most people to do, complain and whining in a black and white manner.
There is Frontier with all their glories and yes, sometime somber moments, but there is also the human nature of the very trendy entitled generation all around us.
It’s not all bad to be entitled. In fact, it’s an equilibrium to the balance of our western society and history as human being.
It’s not very common to see people that are able to criticize in a wise and eloquent way like Ant do. We commonly flooded in the comments section and the forum with people that are angry and sometime, no very mature in their criticism. We then lose perspective and think that all the community are just a bunch of angry peoples.
The stronger voice are very often the one that act the same way about anything in life; not only by a game, but by their whole attitude towards anything.
Yes, I know the shortcoming of Frontier and I also have been outspoken about some issues, but never I have also enjoyed a game like this and have done an investment that brought me so much excitement and relaxation.
So here is my two cents. Elite Dangerous is so good. There is a lot of people that still have not experienced the joy that a lot of us have experienced. Maybe even in those people, there will be other that will put thousands of hours, they just don’t know yet.
I’m still in the back, but I have taken a little break, mostly flying in VR with MSFS 2020. But I will be back.
