In station I'd loaded up with Hudson's Military Supplies for a resupply run to the outer systems. I rode my faithful Asp up the elevator to launch pad.
On nearing the top of the elevator ride it was obvious all was not well from the unusual amount of debris flying about. On reaching the pad I decided to get the hell out of Dodge City.
Literally "Dodging" the flying ship carcasses, bits of assorted scrap and manic laser lashes was the best option that two other ships were also attempting............ They didn't make it as far as the letterbox. They added themselves to the floating scrap!
They had been shot down like dog's. "Oh well" I thought "only lagging NPC's". Then the stations lasers started hitting my Asp too!!! COME ON! I was/am TOTALLY CLEAN!!!!
I burst out of the airlock dragging an assortment of scrap with me! I clenched my teeth waiting for it; but the station external lasers did NOT follow me with laser fire.. but the amount of floating blackened scrap outside the station showed they had been used to good effect on others.

What gives????....did some ticked-off station supervisor lock himself in fire-control and vent his spleen by firing at everything (including me) in sight????... Or was it an Empire Spec Ops one-way/suicide infiltration operation to foul up Hudson's Fortification and Intel runs?????....
