Read First What Time Should the War Start?

As some of you will have noticed, we organised a little off-the-cuff war on Sunday night. It was supposed to be a battle between the Federal Intelligence Service and the Emperor's Elite it took place in "Endless War". Your can read some comments about it here
It proved more popular than I thought, so the plan is to do it again, but this time to give everyone a bit of advance notice, and organize a teamspeak option for those with coms.

So the poll is to gauge interest and to see what the best time of day would be best for most people. Times are GMT.

I will let the poll run until Thursday and then put up an announcement of the forum and on the Facebook pages of the two factions.

Obviously if you don't have Alpha access you can't join the battle, but I thought it would be of interest for everybody to know what is going on, as they can take part in the discussion on Facebook etc. For this reason I have put this in the General forum.

I would actually say if it's at the weekend probably after 6pm and weekdays after 7pm. I certainly won't engage in any warfare until I've had my tea....

Thanks for the offer, that's great. Gen Han-Solo has also volunteered his account. So maybe the FIS could use yours and the Emperors Elite could use Han-Solo's. Will publish yours and Han's details in the announcement on Thursday

It's a shame that this kind of play will only be during alpha...

It kind of shows the hunger for GOOD STUNNING PVP fun...

So possibly Frontier may consider adding practise game modes like Last Ship Standing Or Faction wars to be around alongside the main game...

There we can settle scores from the game without affecting it negatively..

OR should we just take the hit in the game....

All you'd need is a PVP mission where loss of ship is paid for by the recruiting faction, and a fast respawn from a nearby cruiser or something.

Meh, can't wait until it's beta time!

Might even cut down on the amount of the g word in the main game if there was a standalone pvp scenario.

I am in the UK at gmt the teamspeak server I help run is in the USA . If we are talking about Sunday the 9 March it can be set for a max player load of 1000 , I am easy with the times I can play I had to retire . I voted for 18.00 - 21.00 hundred hours . And Stu2 that would be 12.00 - 14.00 pm were you are but the server will be live all the time . I already added channels for Federal and Empire Pilots . Lets hope the Alliance systems are also in the game when it goes to gamma or even full BETA as this would add more choice .

Hey cassius you gave me a very good idea . We need an ALFA backer or maybe 2 trying to capture the battle for twitch and youtube .
They would have to be neutral to both sides but could swap later .

But Guys what about the developers trying to capture the action and putting a link on the main forum so any one registered can check out the Battle PLEASE .
Now that would be cool or as my young Nephew says very HOT .
