I don't have the time for PowerPlay
I don't have the patience for Trading
I don't have the drive to go Exploring
I don't have the heart to do some Pirating
I don't have the skills to be Bounty Hunting
I don't have the desire to go Mining
I have an Orca, 100M credits & 3 hours tonight to play. Any suggestions?

Land on a planet with an SRV and see how high into the no-atmosphere you can launch yourself? Or fill up your hold with rare materials?

Take a break from the game until 2.2 launches, then you will at least get "passengers" to carry around and some new (and probably either completely OP or completely useless) toy fighters for your ship. Elite is not a game to keep playing once the grind seems pointless. The grind was always pointless, but when this becomes painfully clear to a player it's time to take a break and come back when there's something "new" to do.
I'm trying Powerplay for a month or so, but I can already tell that the PP community is too small (and is no longer posting on the forums) so that's not going to keep my interest. I'm probably going to take a break for 2 months or so and come back in Nov. In the meantime I'm throwing some money at Star Citizen for lulz.
Fly trough the systems you are near and take a closer look on the planets and stations. Do really enjoy the ride with a good online radiostation and keep your eyes open for details. This gamestyle is often more than many other parts in here.

So what did you do after all?
If I'm stuck for what to do, I take a random mission, maybe one offering a decent material, to a system I haven't been, whim. When I get there, I take another, and so on. You can end up in all sorts of strange places and gain some extra cool mats. Tonight I accidentally accepted a 250Kls trip to deliver biowaste for some ruthenium.
