Ships What to upgrade to?

I'm saving up to get my next ship and was wondering which one it should be. I currently have a T6 with 96t capacity. It's good for getting from point A to point B, but I need something with more capacity!

Perhaps the Asp next? Slightly more cargo if you want, and enough guns to have a bit of fun with. Will need a bit of investment though - your upgraded T6 is a better ship than a stock Asp.

I just looked at the Asp in E Shipyard and swapped out everything I could for more cargo space and it only comes up to 96t unless I remove the shield generator; which I won't do. So, that doesn't seem like a viable option for more cargo space. Am I missing something?

Unlike the T6 - the Asp actually has a chance in a fight.

if you have a lot of money, go for a trading python. if you want to trade on, go for a t9. if you are just up for chance, buy a dbs or cobra and swap ships in between.

I don't fight. So, having a ship that can fight is not helping me. I guess I will just bump up a grade and go with the T7 until I can save up enough for the T9 and so on and so forth. By the time that happens they might have released new ships! =D

Ah ok. I think I will still wait to save up for a T7. I only have another 6 or 7mil to save up for it.

T7 is a good ship to make quick money. I have it with 200 cargo and 17,6 jump range. If you want a hint - go to Zelano, Shavirin Terminal and buy imperial slaves, than fly to LTT 911, 17,54 Ly, the only indipendent Station (sry can't remember the Name atm, something with B) and sell there - you make there 560 mill! This is the only Station where you can sell the imperial slaves there at best Price.
