Ships What to use a beluga for ?

Hellow ship's maniac cmdrs , recently I tried (not for the 1st time) the beluga again. I'm using it for recue atm and it works fine even if i get stuck sometimes.

Thing is before i had really hard time with the beluga , got stuck ALOT , and died in some white dwarf cone on my1st trip with it. So i left it aside.

But now , i'm loving it , yeah it is big , but i love the way it fly and the shape, the cockpit (centered finaly) ect.

Is there any particular sector where the beluga shine ?

What are you guys using it for ?

I used one for mining (in open just before the FC release, at the triple ltd hotspot in Borann.

It was really good at it, and had an amazing view.

Only downside was the shields left me feeling that an interdiction or attack on me would always end badly vs a player ... although it never actually happened.

But it needed no fuel scoop and was great for jumping to the sales points no matter the range with that big fat fuel tank.

Well, NPCs LOVE them at Jaques Station in Colonia! When I exit there are often four trying to get in. Lots of Orcas as well. For live players there are lots of profitable local and distant passenger missions here. Similar to the bubble but with limited options in the bubble that is a good thing. Some are silly say 38 million credits to go visit Sothis Atmospherics (the bubble Robigo run), then back to Colonia!. No thanks.

I use mine for exploration. Carries everything I need. 4xSRV, 2xSLF, a fuel tank large enough to get me to Sag A* and back. I could go on. Thing is though, I just love to fly it wherever. Such a great lump of a ship, just love it.

Same thing here. I took one on DW2 and it was lovely. Full deep space exploration fit with SRV's, SLF's, repair and refuel limpet controllers...and still did 50ly.

Got mine to about 45lys. Wasted a lot of range though to get the heat under control. I can boost off of planets now with it into SC whilst keeping it under 60 degrees.

Luxury passenger runner, rescue cattle express, exploration, combat. You can use it for everything, I think there is even somebody canyon racing a Beluga. Let your imagination go wild and start building.

Passenger missions. I think i have an advanced docking computer on it as well cause if you don't fly it often you do get stuck eventually. Mine is permanently parked in Robigo, i work it from time to time.. :)
