This is pretty much what I do, just survey uncharted systems I'm passing through on the way to somewhere else if I'm not in a hurry.

So an opportunistic explorer I supose.

That's about it. The other categories mostly leave occupied space to explore, but the Urban Adventurer is is exploring the nooks and crannies of civilization while trading, running missions, and otherwise staying within easy range of stations.
