The recent patch notes mentioned that a 10% refuel bug had been fixed. I've been out in the black since December, and haven't seen a station since Jaques, so was curious what it was.There was much discussion of it on the now-locked thread. However, not a single entity explained what in the blazes the bug was, instead opting to describe why they personally used the function.I've used it extensively, myself, as I like to run with a C3 scoop on my Asp, and can use it to arange for only having to opportunistically scoop as I go rather than stopping to intensively scoop. All of that's well and good, as is any other reason one might have, but I never knew it to be bugged.Does anyone know what the 10% refuel bug actually was?

It was really annoying - a silly little graphic would wander along your dashboard and chew away the fuel % by 10%. You could stop it if you were flying around by flying eratically to get it off your dashboard, sadly though most cases were discovered when you were docked and therefore couldn't move.

Was so hard to get rid of in the really heavy ships... they just don't have the maneuverability to shake it off...
Indeed there are, but they're immaterial the nature of the bug. So the button just didn't do anything at all, or it took your credits but didn't supply any fuel, or it just refueled the powerplant resevoir, or some combination of those? Last I was in inhabited space it'd put 3.2 tons in your 32 ton main tank and top up your powerplant resevoir for free.
