What was the 670 MB update two days ago?

People are mentioning this and I had a 670 MB update two days ago - yet nothing was reported. Since the update, my game is running better though - anyone else here?

Seems odd that such a big update happened and nothing is said here. On the Steam page - people are mentioning it too - thought it was just me?

i was gonna say that maybe it was a blueprint that got updated however its not steam workshop so that seems unlikely. on steamdb it doesnt mention any update delivered to not sure what this is? can anyone from frontier maybe check on this?

It was a big update - funny how more people are mentioning it.

My system just did it automatically and then the game worked better!

theres nothing for frontier to say here, again just FYI: the update was not an update provided by frontier devs.
ive searched around for a bit so you can sleep calmer, the update was the following:
Steam's Automatic Updates: Steam sometimes rolls out updates to the Steam client itself or other related components (like Steamworks, multiplayer servers, etc.), which can cause a game to be updated in the background without the devs announcing it directly.

That is not corect. It was 2 different downloads AND I got the same on the ps5. Pc2 update. Not steam or sony update.

Can confirm - it was two downloads - one from steam and other from Planet Coaster 2 - that's what it said - so not sure what it was - but not trying to be argumentative at all - just what I observed. Have great days everyone, G
