Come on OP, can't you stick to just one thread where you cry about how the pricing model is not what you want it to be, and back in your day pricing models were different, etc etc.

This kind of development and pricing is for die hard fans and backers.
It's not cheaper than a subscription, when you look at the amount of content you get per year.

It makes me feel like a backer, and I don't want to be one. I don't want to pay upfront for promises.
With the announcement of this expansion's features, I regret buying the game so early. I usually give these new games at least 1 year.

For some, perhaps. But, really, I doubt many see this as of any significance whatsoever. FD have made it clear that the planetary landings feature will not be finished in season 2. I cannot imagine that many of the backers who thought the 'promise' (which I thought was a rough timescale, not a promise - and I am one that criticises missed promises) was important would agree that FD declaring it 'finished' at least 18 months after the 'promise' date was actually hitting the promise. But feel free to do cartwheels.
