What we know GamesCom Annoucement WONT be

Ok,

Just wanted to list down some of the things that we know (from Dev announcements) WONT be included in the gamescom announcement/reveal?
.

Walking on Ships
Anything to do with Bounty Hunting in a significant sense
Thargoids
PS4 release

Is there anything else I have missed, I will update this post as appropriate

(The point is to manage expectations before release so we don't get a poo storm when it does get released and people dont get what they want.)

It won't be Thargoids. Michael Brookes said at Lavecon they are still a long way away.

Process of elimination detective work, attempting to determine what the secret IS going to be. Or at the least a mitigation of IS IT THIS ONE threads leading up to the actual release of data.

Probably trying to narrow down what the announcement could be based on what we know it isn't. So speculation.

This is bad karma. You seriously make lists of everything that will not happen when possibly expected?
e.g. like if you get married
1. The Bride may not turn up
2. It may rain
3. You may have second thoughts...............omg man find something more constructive in life.

I don't think it's supposed to be like that. It's not a negative post. He or she is just trying to gather what we have already been told the announcement would not consist of.

I think you need to constrain that list to be a list of things related to Elite Dangerous. Otherwise it is an open invite for people to give a list of everything that may not happen

It won't be CQC PC release neither, it comes with 1.4
It won't be something comparingly small, as David said it's big work they have done for long time

Repped, It's a good thread, because I'm tired of seeing the speculation threads from people who are seemingly still oblivious to what the devs have been saying and need to manage there expectations.

But with the things that people were hoping for ruled out, and the fact that its been said as something they've been working on for a long time, i'm baffled, and worried that its going to be something else which wasn't a part of the original Elite series, i.e. PP.
