What will be next for the chop?

(Mods, I'm just worried and concerned ok, I'm not stirring trouble here, please don't ban me)

Okay, so we know that the single player mode that was announced way back, even in the kickstarter has now been cut from the game to some peoples annoyance.

Although this doesn't personally bother me, I am concerned about what other plans might be cut ...because...?

Maybe in six months time we'll be told Planetary Landing is too complex thus its been removed?

Maybe there will be no Thargoids in the game?

I don't mean to cause trouble or stir things up, I'm just worried thats all.
