What will be your Space Jams

What are going to be your space jams? Or do you prefer not to listen to music? Favourite podcasts?

Personally I'm an Apple Music subscriber (don't hate me) but have subscribed to Spotify in the past. I was sort of tempted to switch but I am not convinced of Spotify's future. I am hoping that Sony will buy them out. In the mean time I am thinking of getting one of these so I can have both the game audio and music/podcasts and use Siri to choose things (like 'Combat Playlist', 'Explorer Playlist', 'Docking Playlist').

I've started to throw to together a few ambient/electronica playlists, but I think depending on what I'm doing I'll also just throw anything on (there's no genre of music I don't like).

Personaly, I turn any and all music off when I play a game.

To those that insist on music when they stream, and I mean no respect, but "PLEASE" turn it down!

I know I am not the only one who would tell you, if the music is to loud, it drowns out your naration. Thus making anything you state in regards to info, inaudible.

Lindsey Stirling (her older stuff, instrumental, no vocals), classical, maybe some "ambiance / meditation" music, perhaps even some Gregorian chants, though mostly nothing at all but the rumble of my engines through my subwoofer :)

Nice. I've been toying with the idea of upgrading my sound system for years but I play mostly with headphones on to not disturb sleeping family members! I say 'sound system'; it's a pair of computer speakers I've had for over 20 years!

Yes, could well be that Salome has some ancestry from there!

The ingame music is that good I bought the soundtrack after a week of playing the game lol 😁 last time I looked it was on Spotify if you want a sneaky listen :)

As for sound systems I'd Deffo recommend a decent surround system or headphones as it's one of the games strongest points! Very atmospheric and loud 😎👍

I've been really happy with the Sony Gold headset so far; I tend to prefer headphones over speakers as I think you tend to hear more. Going from a regular pair of headphones to the Sony ones in FO4 meant I started to be able to roughly locate threats by sound.

Nice one, I use my Sony wireless 2.0 on my xbox lol and elite sounds fantastic through them! Would be interesting to know if fdev are gonna make a custom sound profile for them 😎

Meh, I've not really noticed much difference really between the standard ones and ones 'made for the game'. Mind you I'm the first to admit my ears are not the best! VSS is definitely noticeable though.

Spotify support on PS4 is one of the great things, you don't need to subscribe to skip and such although you do get adverts. I am starting with the Elite music itself because I quite like it, did the same with Eve Online.

Yup I found Sidewinder Radio on INARA site I don't know if you can on PS4 Its not something I will not do all the time ED has some excellent sound effects and music on it own. I will have to check out Hutton Orbital truckers I did not know about that one. Maybe for when I trading and hauling freight Space Trucking [yesnod]

Hmmm has it changed recently? Ill have to try it on the Pro as it was never that bad gor my on PS4. Even mobile isnt that bad.

Trance Europe Express...

Once I get my poop in one sock I'll do a mix of the stuff I like and dump it here somewhere (ex DJ)
