What happened to Earth in the Lore besides climate change?
Are we going to see future cities or a wasteland of buried rubble and a few added Bases here and there?
Seriously, I don't believe we will ever see atmospheric landings. It's just way too big to play god in a world created by billions of people. Just saying [blah]

The artbook has a teeny tiny concept glimpse at a city on an "outdoor world".

AFAIK Earth is supposed to be a place where you have a summer house if you're rich and famous, but not a major hub beyond its historical significance after everything important moved to Mars, so I would expect it to be more of a nature reserve with a few major ports.
