Yay ! o7 [up]
Personally, I will get into my Options and change my call-sign to match the first three letters of my ship.
I haven't played for a week but I'm going to log in shortly, fly to the closest beige ball I can find, land and log out. Then I'll see how it looks tomorrow.
Edit: Had to make do with dull orangey-beige because I really need to get to bed. Right you horrible bland git of a planet, jog on and take your mates with you.
Leaving.
Orca will be pulled up to maximum jump range possible and then I'll be taking the main account on an expedition. Not one of the official ones. I may be some time. I have reset another account though, so maybe will spend some time just enjoying the early days of elite life.

That FdL looks just like mine!
Is there a list somewhere of what's supposed to be coming with this patch, do you know?
Narrator: and it was at this moment jason discovered the empty garage where the FDL once stood.
KAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHNNNNNN!
Out of interest, what are people's estimates for the first max spec ships - I mean, absolutely min/max engineered to hard ceiling on every possible module - appearing?
My guess is well within 24 hours of Live 3.0 for the hardcore, one week for most, two weeks for almost all.
Has anyone figured out whether crewmember NPCs can be 'stored' in a manner that keeps them from taking pay and such? Or maybe I'm misled....
Nah, you can sack 'em but otherwise they live high on the hog at your expense in the crew lounge ... my Cmdr stuck his head around the door briefly the other day and honestly it was like something from the last days of Ancient Rome in there ... back to begging for food at Cleve Hub I go.
