I never did(except once on purpose testing it)...how odd.I still managed to get turned into Mr Crispy during the setpiece
I was simply just running around aimlessly trying to find a way over the walls when I was supposed to be following someone...the minute I was free of the handcuffs...it was like "Never mind all that story nonsense... where's all the caves and Dwemer ruins and stuff!"
The game punished me accordingly
