It's clear that time crunch for the financial year is going to send Odyssey out with some unresolved issues, straight from Alpha to live game. So be it, that's the reality.
However, it would certainly show some awareness and the ability to do multiple things, if FDev would spend some minimal programmer time to include just a few quality of life fixes for the long term game, along with the Odyssey release. It would make the fact clear that whatever arrives in Odyssey, Frontier hears the players, and what's delivered will see an over-time improvement, not just left as is. This would help everyone refocus on a longer view, which is great for Frontier, the game, and the players.
Three quality-of-life changes that speak to the long term game are:
A couple key bindings, a limit increase, and a color scheme. It is hard to believe this would take much time to do all these, but if one is tough for some unobvious reason, then skip it and do the other few.
Really, this would signal that the game is always improving, and the focus of development is multi-faceted, not just looking at the latest shiny thing. And the players should reward FDev with many Arx buys if this sort of focus can be maintained -- fix something old, deliver something new.
Please, these are almost certainly cheap to do and well worth the good will of the gestures.
Best wishes from a dedicated player with 4000+ hours in the game. Thank you.

Three quality-of-life changes that speak to the long term game are:
- Set a key-binding for "request docking from target" -- remove the menu friction for the many many times someone has to do this action.
- Increase the 120 module limit -- I would say that increasing it 10 fold would be awesome, and remove it as a consideration FOREVER, but if that's too problematic, just triple it. Please.
- Set a key-binding for "relative mouse" -- long term players with keyboard and mouse would like to play FA-off and need to for Thargoid combat orbiting and flak work -- please help us do that.
- Create an Arx-buyable weapons color pack that is dark grey or other neutral/dim color, so people with light sensitivity (particularly epilepsy and migraines) could laser mine without staring at bright flashing lights.
